H Mart will open a new store in Dallas’ Koreatown on Oct. 23, expanding its reach in North Texas.

The store, located at 2534 Royal Lane near Harry Hines Boulevard, will open at 10 a.m. with a grand opening event featuring cultural performances.
H Mart, which specializes in Korean and Asian groceries, redeveloped a vacant two-story building into a 70,000-square-foot market and retail space. The company invested $28 million in the project, with the Dallas City Council approving nearly $4 million in incentives to support the redevelopment, according to WFAA and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
The new location sits in Koreatown Dallas, a district officially designated in 2023 by Governor Greg Abbott. The area includes Korean restaurants, shops, and community centers along Royal Lane.
Before this opening, shoppers had to visit H Mart stores in Carrollton or Plano. The chain now operates more than 97 stores nationwide, including in Austin, Houston, and Katy.
A second North Texas store in Haltom City is under construction and is expected to open in early 2026.
