BTS’s Jimin landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with his official solo album “FACE,” the highest ever for a solo K-pop artist.

“FACE,” the BTS singer’s first official solo album released on March 24, will sit on the second spot of the U.S. chart’s upcoming update made for the week of April 8.

With this, Jimin has bested the previous record held by his colleague, RM of BTS, who sat on No. 3 of the Billboard 200 chart with his solo album “Indigo” (2022). The third in line is Nayeon of girl group Twice, who peaked at No. 7 of the albums chart with her solo EP “IM NAYEON” last year.

BTS’s J-Hope and Suga also had their names on the Billboard 200 chart with their solo albums.

The lead track of “FACE” is also expected to land high on the Hot 100 singles chart. Jimin’s previous track, “Set Me Free Pt.2,” released on March 17, sat on No. 30 of the Billboard main chart, the highest for a BTS member.
