H Mart cream rice cake will headline a special pop-up event at the H Mart Buena Park store from the 5th to the 7th, offering limited sales of a Korean dessert that generated a sellout frenzy in Korea.

The dessert, known as fresh cream chapssaltteok
Cream Mochi), is distributed by Iksan Nonghyup (Korean agricultural cooperative) in Jeonbuk. It features a chewy glutinous-rice shell with a light, melt-in-your-mouth cream filling.
H Mart described the pop-up as an opportunity to introduce a popular Korean product directly to customers in the U.S.
“We are bringing a highly talked-about product from Korea to the U.S. market,” the company said. “We expect customers to enjoy the flavors of traditional Korean desserts.”
The price is $9.99 for a 14.11-ounce pack. Founded in 1982 with its first store in Woodside, New York, H Mart now operates more than 100 stores across 18 states.
For inquiries, contact the Buena Park location at (714) 249-7070.
