Watch: Stories of Three Korean College Students Studying Abroad

Currently, there are more than 200,000 Korean college students studying abroad. Oftentimes, experiencing life in an unfamiliar country can expand a student’s mindset and foster independence as they enter adulthood. However, there also are many difficulties associated with moving to a new country. Cultural differences and language barriers are just some of the difficulties international students face when adapting to their new environment.

The following video captures a glimpse of the lives of three Korean college students who are studying abroad in three very different countries – America, Russia, and United Arab Emirates.
