Young Kim, a Republican representing California’s 40th Congressional District, raised more than $2.4 million in campaign contributions during the second quarter of 2024, securing a dominant position in the House fundraising race.

According to newly released data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Kim collected a total of $2,403,423 from April to June. Her campaign now holds a cash reserve of $3,294,450. Of the Q2 contributions, $1,688,028 came from individual donors.
In addition to her campaign fundraising, Kim received national recognition for her policy work. On July 14, the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) awarded her the Healthcare Champion of Change award, which honors policymakers and community leaders who have advanced health policy and access to care.
She was also recognized by the AmChams of Asia Pacific, a coalition of American Chambers of Commerce in the region, for her role in promoting trade and investment between the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.
