A woman in her 20s was arrested for stalking V of BTS on Thursday, according to the police.
The woman waited outside his house at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, then followed him into an elevator. She attempted to start a conversation while handing him a marriage registration form, according to the police.
The woman fled the scene but was apprehended by the police, who revealed that she had a history of stalking V.
“We will implement a zero-tolerance policy against stalkers who violate an artist’s privacy and threaten their safety,” said his agency BigHit Music to the local press on Friday.
V, a member of BTS, recently released his first solo debut album “Layover” on Sept. 8, being the last member of the boy band to release a solo album. The album ranked on Billboard’s main charts including Billboard Hot 100 chart and Billboard 200 albums chart.
