One of the two men who parachuted off Busan’s tallest building last Thursday was revealed to be a U.S. YouTuber, according to Busan Haeundae Police Station Thursday.

Last Thursday morning, two men assumed to be foreigners, allegedly jumped off from the observation deck on the 99th floor of LCT, a 101-floor tall building, without permission.

Police were tracing the whereabouts of the two men on suspicion of trespassing into the building as they could not identify them immediately after receiving a report.

The police confirmed Thursday that one of the men is a U.S. YouTuber and are considering requesting Interpol’s cooperation.

The other person has not yet been identified.

The police suspect that the YouTuber planned to parachute off the building beforehand and stayed in Busan for four days.

Police believe the YouTuber immediately left the country after carrying out his plan.

Footage of the YouTuber suspected to be involved in jumping off the building has not yet been uploaded to their channel, according to media reports.

Police also believe that the suspects can be charged with trespassing for going up to the 99th-floor observation deck before operation hours using the building’s cargo elevator without permission.

In 2019, two Russians each received a 5 million won ($3,755) fine for trespassing after jumping off high-rise buildings in Haeundae, including LCT.

Despite being initially banned from leaving the country, the two Russians were allowed to depart after paying the fine.
