Two Korean men shot critically wounded in Mexico

Two Korean men were shot critically wounded in Mexico on June 26.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea on June 27, two South Korean men in their 30s, who were visiting Mexico for business, were shot at around 4:50 p.m. on June 26 in Toluca de Lerdo, Mexico. Toluca is located about 60 kilometers west of Mexico City, the capital of Mexico.

Both victims are currently in critical condition and are receiving treatment at a local hospital. The shooter is reportedly still unidentified.

“Our diplomatic mission has requested the host country’s police to quickly apprehend and investigate the shooter,” the diplomatic official said, adding, “We are providing the necessary consular assistance to the victims.”
