“The Roundup: Punishment” (tentative title), the fourth installment in the “The Outlaws” (2017) franchise, has begun shooting, distributor ABO Entertainment said Friday.

Starring actor Ma Dong-seok, “The Roundup: Punishment” will center on chasing after the nation’s most notorious illegal online gambling organization.

The newest villain for the fourth film will be played by actor Kim Moo-yul, and will see actors Lee Dong-hwi and Lee Joo-bin star as well.

Actor Park Ji-hwan, who has featured in the franchise since the first film, has also been confirmed to return.

Previous villains have been played by actors Yoon Kye-sang and Son Suk-ku.

The first and second films, “The Outlaws” and “The Roundup” (2022) have seen commercial success. “The Roundup: No Way Out,” the third installment, is set to premiere sometime in 2023 and the villain will be played by actor Lee Jun-hyeok.
