“The Glory” was the third most-watched non-English TV series around the world on Netflix last week, according to the streaming service’s official website on Wednesday.

The Korean Netflix original series, featuring actor Song Hye-kyo as the revenge-driven leading lady, was watched for 25.4 million hours around the world during the week starting Dec. 26.

No. 1 and 2 were the second and first seasons of the Japanese drama series “Alice in Borderland,” which were watched 74.3 million hours and 30.2 million hours, respectively.

“The Glory” tells the story of a woman seeking vengeance for being bullied as a child. The 8-episode drama series was released on Netflix on Dec. 30 and became the most-watched drama series in 10 regions including Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines in just two days.

“The Glory” is the first revenge story written by Kim Eun-sook, who wrote the scripts for “Mr. Sunshine” (2018), “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” (2016-17) and “Descendants of the Sun” (2016).
