Chinese and Russian military aircraft entered and exited Korea’s Air Defense Identification Zone on Dec. 9, prompting Seoul to deploy fighter jets. The Joint Chiefs of Staff reported no airspace violations but said the aircraft participated in a joint drill and remained in the zone for about an hour.
