Actors Suzy and Kim Woo-bin will star in screenwriter Kim Eun-sook’s upcoming romantic-comedy drama, producers hwa&damnpictures announced Wednesday.
Titled “All Wishes Shall Be Granted” (translated), the drama will center around a genie and Gayoung, who helps the genie to escape punishment.
The drama, set to air in 2024, will be directed by Lee Byeong-heon, who is known for films like “Dream” (2023) featuring singer and actor IU and actor Park Seo-jun and “Extreme Job” (2019), which garnered 16 million in ticket sales in Korea.
Suzy made her debut as a member of girl group miss A in 2010, and kicked off her acting career with the 2011 drama “Dream High.” She is best known for her leading role in the 2012 film, “Architecture 101.”
Actor Kim Woo-bin debuted as an actor in 2011 in the KBS drama “White Christmas.” Kim temporarily halted all his activities after announcing that he was suffering from nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017. He resumed his activities in 2019 and took the leading role in the 2023 Netflix drama “Black Knight.”
