Son Heung-min Throws First Pitch at Dodgers Game

Son Heung-min, who recently joined LAFC and has quickly become a sports star in Los Angeles, met fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers. On August 27, Son took the mound as the ceremonial first pitcher before the Dodgers’ game against the Cincinnati Reds, where he received an enthusiastic welcome from the crowd.

Sangjin Kim, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, studied photojournalism and worked as a photographer for a magazine and AFP Seoul. In 1999, he moved to the U.S. with his wife and son to study visual communications at Ohio University. After graduating, he settled in Los Angeles, working as a photographer for The Korea Daily.
