K-pop had another good year in the United States, with seven K-pop albums making it to the list of top 10 most-sold albums in the country, according to Luminate.
Boy band Stray Kids’ third full-length album, “5-Star,” sat at No. 2 on the music and entertainment data provider’s list, along with its EP “Rock-Star” at No. 4.
Boy band Tomorrow X Together’s fifth EP “The Name Chapter: Temptation” sat at No. 3.
Girl group NewJeans’s second EP “Get Up” sat at No. 5, followed by girl group Twice’s 12th EP “Ready To Be” at No. 6.
Boy band Seventeen’s 10th EP “FML” came at No. 7, and BTS’s Jungkook took the No. 10 spot with “Golden.”
Taylor Swift took all three remaining spots — No. 1, No. 8 and No. 9.
Luminate released the list as part of its annual year-end report on Wednesday, based on the physical album sales data it compiled from Dec. 30, 2022, to Dec. 28.
K-pop albums also took seven spots on the top 10 list in 2022.
