Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics swept prizes at CES 2024 Innovation Awards, which were held before the trade show that will take place next month in Las Vegas.
Samsung received 28 innovation awards from the Consumer Technology Association in areas of video display, mobile and home appliances among others. It received 46 last year.
LG Electronics received a record-high of 33 awards in categories of video display, digital imaging, audio components and accessories. The company nabbed 28 last year.
LG Electronics also took away three Best of Innovation Awards for OLED TVs. Samsung took two for video displays.
The recognized products will be displayed at the CES 2024, which will take place from Jan. 9 to 12 next year.
