Porto’s Bakery, a popular Cuban bakery chain of Southern California, is reaching out to Orange County with its first OC locations in Buena Park.

Today at 10 AM, the new Porto’s Bakery and Cafe located at 7640 Beach Blvd held the grand opening event where Cuban American actor Andy Garcia made an appearance to cut the ribbon.

This 25,000 sq ft store is the fourth location, following stores in Burbank, Glendale, and Downey.

Founded by a Cuban immigrant Rosa Porto in 1978, Porto’s Bakery has grown to become one of representative bakeries of Los Angeles, even placing its name on Yelp’s list of the top 100 places to eat in the United States in 2016.

Porto’s Bakery is to open its fifth location in West Covina.
