A new One Piece Cafe Los Angeles will officially open on August 2 in Little Tokyo, making it the second One Piece-themed cafe in the U.S., following the Las Vegas location that launched on May 11.

Located at 241 S. San Pedro Street, the cafe has been operating under a soft-opening preview according to Anime Mojo. To celebrate the grand opening, Toei Animation is offering special giveaways: the first 10 guests will receive a free One Piece Cafe tote bag containing $100 worth of merchandise, the next 50 guests will receive bags with $50 worth, and an additional 40 guests will receive tote bags.
This Los Angeles location features a number of exclusive food and merchandise items not available elsewhere. Among the standout menu items are: Sanji’s “Diable Jambe” Chicken Katsu Sando with spicy chicken and house-made sauce on honey milk bread, Sanji’s Beef Yakisoba with garlic soy beef and house pickles, and Hatchan’s Takoyaki topped with bonito flakes and seaweed. Drinks and desserts include Robin’s Flower-Flower Power Refresher made with blueberry lavender lemonade and butterfly pea tea, and three artisan donuts themed after characters—Gum-Gum Devil Fruit Delight, Luffy’s Passion Punch, and Zoro’s Gold Mark.
One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda, is one of the most globally recognized anime and manga franchises. The series follows Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as they search for the legendary treasure “One Piece,” left behind by the former Pirate King Gol D. Rogers.
More than 25 years after the anime’s debut in Japan, the franchise remains a cultural powerhouse. It has expanded into 15 feature films, a trading card game, multiple video games, and now themed cafes. Its popularity has only grown with the launch of the Netflix live-action adaptation in 2023, which received widespread acclaim. Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
