Actor Oh Jung-se’s agency issued an apology after a van the actor’s manager was driving killed a man in his 60s.

According to police reports, the van hit a tractor that a couple in their 60s was riding in Buri-myeon in Geumsan County, South Chungcheong, on Wednesday. Oh was in the passenger seat when the accident took place.

The man, who was driving the tractor, died on the spot while his wife was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital. Oh and his manager were also treated at the hospital after sustaining minor injuries.

“We send our sincere condolences to the bereaved family,” the agency said in a statement. “We will be doing all we can to provide support to the victim and his family.”

The agency also asked the media to refrain from treating the incident as “gossip,” adding, “This is a tragic car accident caused by one of our employees that took one man’s life.”

The police are still looking into the exact cause of the accident. Oh’s manager was reportedly not driving under the influence.
