The release date of Nike’s ‘dream shoes’ has been confirmed.

In March last year, Nike introduced ‘HyperAdapt’, sneakers that have a ‘sale-lacing” function. Nike’s PR director Heidi Burgett announced on Twitter: “HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available in the U.S. at select Nike retail locations. Appointments to experience & purchase begin 11.28.16.”

Nike also mentioned that the price and purchase method will be announced in a few weeks. However, these sneakers are available for sale only for members of the Nike Loyalty program.

The shoes, which have a sensor attached and self-lace, first appeared in ‘Back To The Future 2’, a 1989 adventure film. In the film, the ‘self-lacing’ shoes appeared during the 2015 future scenes.

Motivated by this, Nike had announced in October, 2015, that they would make such shoes aiming to release at the end of the year. Then as the official release date has been made, we can soon meet these dream shoes in reality.
