The new drama of MBC is a romantic comedy story between Bo-Nui (Hwang Jung-eum), who believes in fortune-telling, and Soo-ho (Ryu Jun-yeol), a CEO at a game company.
‘Lucky Romance’ has been receiving great expectations from the audience especially because of its “hot” cast. Hwang Jung-eum has gained the title of “rom-com queen” from her works on previous MBC dramas: ‘Kill Me, Heal Me’ and ‘She Was Pretty’. Ryu Jun-yeol also has gained a lot of attention and fans from the successful tvN drama, ‘Reply 1988’.
Considering the positive reactions on the released teasers and posters of the drama, it is expected that such reactions will continue to the actual viewing.
Since the great success of ‘Descendants of the Sun’, which marked the 30% viewing rate, Wednesday and Thursday dramas’ viewing rates have been dropped down to 10%. It is highly anticipated that if the Hwang Jung-eum and Ryu Jun-yeol couple can revive the Wednesday and Thursday dramas.
