Nominees for 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards are finally announced!
The Mnet Asian Music Awards, commonly abbreviated as MAMA, is a major annual K-pop awards ceremony held by CJ E&M. The event involving not only Korean musicians and celebrities but also those from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, and United States, is now a global event K-pop fans across the world anticipate every year.
As the event is only about a month away, nominees for nineteen categories are unveiled yesterday. While the full list of categories and nominees are available below, some of the most competitive categories include Best New Female Artist where BLACKPINK, I.O.I, WJSN, gugudan, and Bolbbalgang compete and Best Male Group where EXO, iKON, BTS, Block B, SHINee, and INFINITE compete.
You can vote for the nominees here. You must vote in every category and you may vote only once a day per ID.
The winners will be announced at MAMA 2016, which will take place on December 2 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
