Love in Music, led by CEO Kwanil Park, conducted an orientation for volunteers gearing up for the 2023-24 season at its South Bay outreach center, the First Presbyterian Church of Torrance, on August 5.

During this event, the organization took the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the efforts of volunteers from the previous season. Esteemed individuals were awarded the Presidential Service Awards and Community Leader Service Awards, presented by notable figures including U.S. Representative Michelle Park Steel, California Assemblymember Miguel Santiago, and L.A. City Councilmember Heather Hutt.

Presently, Love in Music is actively offering its services in both the South Bay and Los Angeles areas. Additionally, it is set to inaugurate its Santa Ana, Orange County office on August 12.

Founded in May 2007, Love in Music is a nonprofit organization dedicated to classical music outreach, driven by a profound mission of promoting racial reconciliation. This objective is realized by offering complimentary musical instruments and lessons to children originating from economically disadvantaged families. The program actively engages multiple communities, encompassing Black, Hispanic, Mongolian, Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese demographics.

As the program extends its outreach to encompass an array of communities, Love in Music continues to play a vital role in creating opportunities and breaking down barriers through the medium of music.
