Michelle Park Steel, the vice chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, is partnering with Hiring Fair Foundation, an affiliate of nonprofit Job Korea, to host a large-scale job fair on May 19 at 10 p.m. in O.C.’s Costa Mesa (88 Fair Dr, Costa Mesa). This year’s event is the sixth job fair, but O.C. is hosting for the very first time.
Bank of Hope, Hanmi Bank and CBB Bank are all set to attend the job fair, alongside Kotra USA, Korean Air and Asiana Airline. CBB Bank president Joanne Kim will give a lecture at the event.
It is expected that the number of attendees at this year’s event will exceed last year’s 7,000. The booths at the event will accept cover letters and resumes from job applicants as well as holding on-site job interviews if necessary. A contest will be held to award winners with various prizes, including a roundtrip ticket to South Korea, iPad Mini and the Amazon V Stick.
Job seekers are asked to attend the event with resumes and cover letters written in English.
