A Korean man who purchased a $10 scratchers’ game out of boredom has won $1 million.
In Park purchased the lottery ticket at a local 7-Eleven on the corner of Moody Street and Crescent Avenue on Aug. 15. His purchase included four different types of lottery tickets, one of which was a Quick 6. His winning prize of $1 million was from Quick 6.
The 7-Eleven that sold the winning ticket to Park will also receive $5,000 of prize money.
