LA Koreatown’s supermarkets are becoming “smart”.

At the beginning of this year, H Mart launched their mobile application for the first time, and now Zion Market just launched theirs.

H Mart’s mobile app provides information including weekly sales, stores, and coupons, and it is available in Korean, English, and Chinese. Customers can download coupons from the app and use them to buy products cheaper at the store. Customers that are smart card members can check the number of points they have through the app.

Zion Market also launched a mobile app that provides customers access to information including weekly sales and coupons. The app can be used in a total of 6 stores including San Diego, Hawaiian Gardens, Irvine, LA, Buena Park, and Cerritos.

Zion Market said, “We have created the app with the hope of helping our customers to check the weekly sales beforehand and plan shopping. Especially with the weekly sales feature, customers can add products they want to ‘my shopping list’.”

Both H Mart and Zion Market mobile apps can be downloaded from Google Play store and Apple App store.
