Fu Bao, the first giant panda born in Korea, will be relocated to China in early April.

Everland, the amusement park in Yongin, Gyeonggi, announced Tuesday that the giant panda’s public appearances will continue until early March.

She can be seen only in the afternoon.

Afterward, Fu Bao will be moved to a secured location within Panda World for a physical checkup and management before being airlifted to China.

Fu Bao was born on July 20, 2020, at Everland to parents Le Bao and Ai Bao, who were leased by the Chinese government in 2016.

Under the agreement with China, all giant pandas, even those born outside of China, must be returned to China when they reach sexual maturity at the age of four.

Fu Bao has two twin siblings, Bui Bao and Hui Bao, who were born at Everland in July 2023.
