A new boutique hotel is set to open in Los Angeles Koreatown and has begun accepting reservations. The Kins Hotel Koreatown, located at 3434 W. 6th St., will welcome its first guests starting September 8, according to real estate publication Urbanize LA.

The hotel occupies a four-story building originally constructed in the 1950s, which has been converted into a 52-room property. Renovations added a new restaurant deck on the east-side terrace above the parking structure and a dining space on the ground floor.
City records show that the building’s owner and applicant for the hotel conversion project is Moo Han Bae, president of M&C Property Management LLC and former president of the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles. Architectural design for the project was handled by Architecture Studio MA.
According to the hotel’s official website, Kins Hotel will feature a fitness center, a meeting room, and two restaurants on the first floor. Guests will also find a bar on the outdoor patio.
Room types range from Standard King and Deluxe King to Two Double, Two Queen, and Junior Suite layouts. Reservations are available for stays beginning September 8, with nightly rates starting at $167.
