The Korean Festival Committee of Orange County is inviting participants for the K-Pop Competition, a highlight of the 39th Arirang Festival.
The Arirang Festival will run from October 12-15 at Garden Grove Park (9301 Westminster Blvd). Meanwhile, the K-Pop contest will span three days, from October 12 to 14.
The committee emphasizes the K-Pop competition as a hallmark event intended for both the Korean and Vietnamese communities to relish. It’s been scheduled during prime time: from 7 to 9 p.m. on October 12, and from 8 to 10 p.m. on October 13 and 14.
“The first-place winner will receive $3,000, and the second and third place winners will also receive generous prizes,” stated Jung. “We’ll also offer the best performers an opportunity to audition in Korea.” For additional details on the K-Pop contest or to register for a booth, please contact (714-943-6918).
