A fundraiser for Korean-American candidates for LA City Council will be held tomorrow (Feb. 22).
The fundraiser for 12th District incumbent John Lee will take place at 6 p.m. at the Maureen Gaffney Wolfson Art Gallery (19860 Plummer St., Chatsworth). Korean Americans interested in attending should call the gallery at (800) 588-8552 to make reservations.
A significant number of individuals from the Korean-American community in LA and the Valley, as well as artists, will be present at the fundraiser to express their support for the candidate. A fundraiser for Grace Yoo, who is running for the 10th District seat, will be hosted by Byung Chul Park of Everest Trading Corp at 5:30 p.m. the same day at Fremont Place in Hancock Park.
To RSVP to the event, please contact Yoo’s campaign at changemaker@graceforla.com or (213) 864-5675 to receive the event address.
Contributions to the LA City Council candidates are limited to $900 each for the primary and general elections.
