Internet Is Going Wild Over South Korean President’s Bodyguard

It’s only been a few days since South Korea’s newly-elected president has started his term, but he already has to share the limelight. On May 12, one Twitter user shared pictures of President Moon’s bodyguard, whose appearance is good enough to steal everyone’s heart.

Photos of the bodyguard, Choi Young-jae, were initially posted on Korean web portal Daum during the presidential campaign, and quickly took over the social media when Twitter user @elena_yip shared them.

As soon as the initial tweet went viral, many replied to the tweet, picturing the 36-year-old bodyguard in Korean dramas.

According to President Moon’s campaign office, Choi served as a Special Warfare Command officer.
