Le Sserafim‘s Hong Eun-chae will take a temporary break from her individual activities due to health problems.

“Hong went to the doctor after she fell ill, including having a fever, and is currently being treated according to the doctor’s advice,” her agency Source Music said on Weverse Thursday. “She will not attend KBS2’s Music Bank on Friday so that she can get enough rest to recover.”

Hong is currently one of the hosts of KBS’s weekly music programs, Music Bank, which airs every Friday.

Her bandmate Huh Yun-jin will fill in for Hong on Friday as a special host.

“We will plan out the schedule while keeping the artist’s health as our utmost priority,” the agency added.

Hong debuted in 2022 as a member of girl group Le Sserafim under Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE. The group is known for songs such as “Fearless” (2022), “Antifragile” (2022) and “Perfect Night” (2023). Hong is the youngest among the five members, which includes Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin and Kazuha.

The group is set to drop its third EP “EASY” on Feb. 19.
