Masterpieces & Markets: The H Mart Kids Drawing Contest is Back with a $10,000 Prize Pool
If your child’s favorite aisle is the one with the colorful snacks, it’s time to turn that inspiration into a scholarship. The annual H Mart Kids Drawing Contest is officially returning for 2026, celebrating Family Month with a creative challenge that asks: “What is your favorite H Mart moment?” From the sizzling sound of a family BBQ to that first bite of a melona bar, H Mart wants to see the world through your child’s eyes.
How to Turn Doodles into Dollars
Starting April 3rd through April 26th, young artists from Pre-K to 5th grade can showcase their talent. Participation is exclusive to H Mart Smart Reward Card members, making it a perfect time to join the club if you haven’t already.
The process is simple:

Grab Your Canvas: Pick up official drawing paper at any H Mart Customer Service desk.

Get Creative: Let your child illustrate a memory—be it a family picnic or a grocery run.

Submit & Scan: Return the masterpiece to the store and complete the online registration via the QR code provided.
Every single participant who completes the online registration will receive a $10 discount coupon (valid on purchases of $100+), so everyone walks away a winner!
$10,000 in Prizes: More Than Just Bragging Rights
H Mart isn’t holding back on the rewards this year. A total of 90 young visionaries will be selected for prizes totaling $10,000. The Grand Prize winner will take home a $1,000 scholarship and a commemorative plaque—a serious boost for any kid’s future portfolio.
Other categories include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rankings, along with participation awards, all featuring trophies and scholarship funds. “We hope this event allows children to unleash their creativity while making meaningful memories with their families,” an H Mart representative shared.
