“NCT 127: Limitless,” the first graphic novel produced in collaboration with a K-pop act, will be released in July, announced boy band NCT 127’s agency SM Entertainment on Thursday.

Made in collaboration with Universal Music, graphic novel publisher Z2 Comics and SM Entertainment, “NCT 127: Limitless” will expand on the boy band’s fictional universe that revolves around ‘dream.’

“Presented in the manhwa (South Korean comic) format, “Limitless” follows NCT 127 in the midst of their world tour […] at a sold-out stadium in New York City,” the product page for the graphic novel reads.

The graphic novel will center on a “mysterious circumstance where dream and reality intersect”.

NCT 127 debuted in July 2016 as a subunit of boy band NCT. It consists of ten members: Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Mark and Haechan. Winwin has not been active as part of NCT 127 since he became a member of boy band WayV in 2019. The band recently released a repackaged version of its fourth full-length album “Ay-Yo” in January 2023.
