The “HYBE: We Believe In Music” exhibition spotlights HYBE’s “legacy of unparalleled innovation and creativity as a trend-setting global entertainment brand” the Grammy Museum said Tuesday on its homepage.
“This is going to be one of the largest exhibits the museum’s ever curated,” said Grammy Museum President and CEO Michael Sticka in an interview with The Associated Press. “They’ll take over the entire third floor of the museum.”
Artifacts fromZico, fromis_9, &TEAM, BoyNextDoor, TWS, Illit and Katseye will also be part of the exhibit.
Other features of the exhibit include interactive singalong and dance rooms and an immersive experience room featuring BTS’s 2022 Grammy Awards performance of the song “Butter” (2021).
“I hope this exhibit will be a great chance for our rookie teams — the new teams, new artists — to be introduced to the American music fans,” said HYBE COO Kim Tae-Ho, according to The Associated Press. “This can be a very good momentum for their entrance into the American music market.”
Girl group NewJeans, however, was not included in the promotion poster of the exhibition. NewJeans’ agency ADOR is owned by HYBE, but its CEO Min Hee-jin is currently going through a legal battle with the company.
