The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on January 16 that it confirmed an issue in which the instrument cluster may fail to display the speedometer and fuel gauge due to a software error.

The recall affects the 2025–2026 G80 and GV80, along with the 2026 G80 electric vehicle, GV60, GV70 electric vehicle, and GV70.

Genesis is advising owners to disable the high-definition radio function until repairs are completed. The company will provide a free update to the audio and video navigation software, either over the air (OTA) or at a dealership.

Owners will receive recall notices by mail on March 16. Additional information is available through Genesis Customer Service at 844-340-9741.

The company’s internal recall number is 031G. Vehicle owners can also check their vehicle identification number (VIN) on the official NHTSA website.
