
Chef Edward Lee, known for his appearance on Netflix’s Culinary Class War, is stepping into fashion with a new t-shirt collaboration with Asian American streetwear brand 1587 Sneakers.
The $45 t-shirt features the phrase “I AM 비빔인간” (“I am Bibim Human”) on the front and a large illustration of bibimbap (Korean mixed rice bowl) on the back. Lee also modeled the shirt himself, drawing additional attention to the launch.
The limited-edition item is currently available for purchase on the 1587 Sneakers website (1587sneakers.com).
1587 Sneakers is a fashion brand that centers Asian American identity through sneakers and apparel. The brand has gained visibility through appearances on shows like Shark Tank. The collaboration with Lee is being recognized as a playful and proud expression of Asian culture in fashion.
