On February 26, 2026, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall of 651,145 units of the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner.

According to the CPSC, the steam cleaner’s boiler can rupture if it is overfilled or if the pressure release valve malfunctions. This may pose a risk of burns or other injuries to users.

The recalled products carry model number DUP020WNA. Affected units have batch codes ranging from 0118-01 to 0425-05, which can be found on the label on the bottom of the device.

The portable steam cleaners are used for cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing in the home. Each unit features a white body and a black hose.

So far, 15 incidents involving boiler rupture have been reported. Among these, four injuries were confirmed, including minor burns, bruises, lacerations, and a wrist fracture.

At least seven reports of property damage have also been received.

The recalled products were sold from April 2018 through December 2025 through the official Dupray website as well as major online and retail stores nationwide, including Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Macy’s.

The manufacturer is urging consumers to stop using the product immediately and request a free replacement safety boiler cap through the Dupray recall website.
