Congresswoman Michelle Steel’s office vandalized for second time this year

An incident of vandalism occurred at the Orange County district office of Congresswoman Michelle Park Steel (R-CA 45th District) on July 26.

According to Steel’s office, a window at her second-floor office on Holder Street in Cypress was shattered by a rock on the 26th. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. In a statement, Congresswoman Steel remarked, “Violence of any kind has no place in our society, and no amount of it will stop me from doing what I believe is right for Southern California families.”

This is the second instance of window damage at her office this year. The first incident, which took place in January, was reportedly caused by pro-Palestinian protesters.

The Cypress Police Department is currently investigating the incident, and no suspects have been apprehended at this time.

Steel’s office released photos of the damaged window and reported receiving dozens of phone calls from pro-Hamas protesters opposing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s congressional address before the incident occurred.
