Chick-fil-A is giving away free food to customers who play its mobile game ‘Code Moo’, which launched through the chain’s official app on July 15.
The game will run through August 4, with new missions released every Tuesday. Players who complete these missions receive digital coupons that can be redeemed for free menu items such as medium waffle fries, a chocolate chunk cookie, or a 5-count chicken nugget.
The coupons are accessible through the Chick-fil-A app and must be used within one week of receiving them.
‘Code Moo’ features Chick-fil-A’s iconic cow mascots and was first introduced in 2023. This year, the campaign includes more than just the game. Chick-fil-A is also releasing a short-form animated series and a podcast starring the cows, expanding the brand’s storytelling experience.
Additionally, limited-edition cow-themed merchandise is available, including T-shirts, cow-print backpacks, and plush dolls. Some items have already sold out due to high demand.
Dustin Britt, Senior Director of Brand Strategy at Chick-fil-A, said, “The cows have been a key part of our brand story for over 30 years. This year, we wanted to celebrate them through a multi-channel campaign—games, animation, podcasts, and merchandise—that customers can enjoy in different ways.”
