A Chinese woman in her 30s was arrested late June 11 for allegedly trying to enter the home of BTS member Jungkook, just hours after he completed his military service.
According to the Yongsan Police Precinct in central Seoul, officers detained the woman around 11:20 p.m. on suspicion of attempted trespassing.
Police said the woman went to Jungkook’s residence in the Yongsan District and attempted to gain access by repeatedly entering the keypad code at the front door. Officers responded to a report and arrested her at the scene.
During questioning, the woman reportedly said she had traveled to Korea to see Jungkook after his discharge from the military.
Jungkook enlisted in December 2023 and served 18 months in the Army. He was officially discharged on June 11.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine further details of the incident.
