Blackpink’s Lisa will feature on Big Bang Taeyang’s upcoming solo album according to Taeyang’s agency The Black Label on Wednesday.

Local media reported on Wednesday that Lisa will be collaborating with Taeyang on his next solo album, featuring on one of the tracks and will also be appearing in his music video.

It will be a collaboration between Taeyang, a former artist of YG Entertainment and Lisa, who currently is under YG Entertainment.

Taeyang is currently preparing for a new solo album, set to be released in April. His last music was the digital single “Vibe,” which was released on Jan. 13 and features Jimin from boy band BTS.

Taeyang debuted as a member of the boy band Big Bang in 2006 and released his first solo album two years later in 2008. “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” the lead track from Taeyang’s second full-length album released in 2014 stormed music charts for weeks and landed at No. 3 on Melon’s yearly music charts in 2014. His last full-length album was “White Night” released in 2018.

Taeyang signed with The Black Label on December 2022 after being with YG Entertainment for over 16 years. The Black Label was founded in 2016 as a subsidiary label of YG Entertainment by the Korean-American rapper and producer Teddy, who is known for setting the musical direction for YG Entertainment. The agency became independent in 2020 after YG Entertainment sold its shares.
