He also reports on national and local politics, foreign policy, culture, and sports. His work has been recognized with Ethnic Media Awards in Art, Culture, Entertainment & Sports and in Business & Economy. Before joining The Korea Daily, Kim worked at the U.S. Embassy in South Korea and in the office of a member of South Korea’s National Assembly. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan and was named a James B. Angell Scholar.
