Asiana Airlines is hosting a special event to celebrate the expansion of its A380 (Airbus 380) route to LAX-ICN next year.

Asiana announced on November 28 that it will expand its A380 service to twice daily from March next year to meet the demand for visits to Korea.

The A380 will be configured with 12 Business Suites, 66 Business Smartium, and 417 Economy seats, adding more than 170 seats compared to the existing A350.

To celebrate the expansion, Asiana is offering up to 30 percent off on round-trip tickets to Los Angeles through its website and travel agencies until December 18.

Customers traveling to South Korea between February 1 and April 30 next year will be able to purchase tickets at significantly discounted prices. Customers who purchase discounted tickets through Asiana’s website will also receive a coupon to save 20% on the additional cost of seat selection.

Paid reserved seats offer three options: seats with at least 16 centimeters (6.3 inches) more legroom than regular seats; Front Zone seats, which allow passengers to exit the plane first upon arrival; and Duo seats, enabling two passengers to share a second-floor window seat.

Asiana Airlines said, “With this special offer, passengers will be able to experience a comfortable long-distance travel experience with spacious and relaxing personal space and a comfortable cabin environment at a lower price.” Asiana Airlines then asked for the interest and support of Koreans and Korean Americans.
