An air purifier recall has been issued for 191,300 units sold through Amazon, Temu, TikTok Shop, and Shopify due to a potential fire risk.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said it is recalling 191,300 Aroeve air purifiers because they may overheat during use and could catch fire.
The recalled air purifiers were sold from September 2024 through June 2025 for $80 to $134 through Amazon, Shopify, Temu, and TikTok Shop.
According to the CPSC, the agency has received 37 reports of overheating involving the product. One of those cases resulted in a fire. However, there have been no reported injuries or property damage.
The recalled products are black or white air purifiers with the model number “MK04.” The recall applies to units with serial numbers starting with “BN” that were manufactured before July 2024. Consumers can find the model number, manufacturing date, and serial number on the label on the bottom of the product.
Authorities advised consumers who have the recalled product to stop using it immediately and contact Aroeve at Aroeve-airpure-recall@outlook.com to receive a free replacement.
