Air Premia is now offering interline routes from the United States through Korea to other Asian countries, thanks to a new agreement with Korean Air. This agreement, announced on May 27, allows passengers from the Americas to fly through Incheon, Korea and connect seamlessly to Korean Air flights to various destinations in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia with a single ticket.

Interlining is a partnership where an airline sells segments of another airline’s route alongside its own, enabling passengers to purchase only one ticket and bypass check-in and baggage claims during transfers. For the airline, it provides an opportunity to expand its route networks and attract more connecting passengers.

Flights from Los Angeles can now connect to four routes from Incheon to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, and Singapore. Similarly, flights from San Francisco will connect to Singapore via Incheon. From New York, Air Premia passengers can connect to eight Korean Air routes from Incheon, including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. These interline tickets are available for purchase through travel agencies.

Air Premia also plans to sign an interline agreement with Alaska Airlines within the first half of the year, which will provide connections on 110 domestic routes and six Latin American routes, including destinations in Mexico and Costa Rica.

“Interline enables us to offer a wider range of connections to passengers on our flights. Air Premia will continue to expand skyways with more partnerships with global major airlines,” said a spokesperson for Air Premia.
