The “Pink Blood” Fever: SMTR25 Takes the Lead with “We Go Up”

The next generation of K-pop royalty is officially marking its territory. SMTR25, the highly anticipated male trainee group under SM Entertainment, is set to release their brand-new track, “We Go Up,” today at 6 p.m. If you’ve been following the “Pink Blood” lineage, you know that when SM drops a pre-debut single, the industry holds its breath.

This isn’t just any random release; the track serves as the grand anthem for the original soundtrack of Mnet’s reality hit, Reply High School. To ensure the song carries that signature “SM DNA,” the agency brought in the legendary hitmaker Kenzie—the genius behind iconic tracks for NCT, EXO, and Girls’ Generation. Expect a high-energy sound that perfectly captures the “graduation” theme of the show’s final episode, airing tonight at 8:20 p.m.

From Ujeong High to Global Stages

While they are still technically “trainees,” the SMTR25 members have already built a fandom that rivals many established groups. The group, which features 15 talented boys including fan-favorites Hamin and Nicholas, has been winning hearts through their time-slip journey at the fictional “Ujeong High School.”

To celebrate the show’s successful run, SM Entertainment is launching a dedicated pop-up store at their Seongdong District headquarters starting today through April 19. Fans can grab exclusive merchandise, snap photos in themed zones, and even leave “graduation” notes for the boys. It’s a rare chance to get up close and personal with the stars before they officially trade their trainee status for the global spotlight.

The Graduation Trip: Are You Ready for May?

The momentum doesn’t stop with a digital single. Following the finale of Reply High School, SMTR25 will embark on their first-ever fan meeting tour, titled “Graduation Trip.” The tour kicks off at the Olympic Hall in Seoul from May 1 to 3, before heading to Japan and Thailand.

As SM Entertainment prepares to launch their next major boy group later this year, “We Go Up” feels less like a variety show OST and more like a declaration of intent. Whether they become the next NCT or carve out a completely new legacy, one thing is certain: SMTR25 is already going up, and they aren’t looking back.
