Actor and singer Park Ji-hoon revealed that he gave his father a foreign luxury car as a gift.
On the 25th, he appeared on the tvN show You Quiz On The Block. Park Ji-hoon, who played the role of Danjong in the movie The King’s Warden — a film that surpassed 6 million ticket sales — was featured on the program.
During the show, host Yoo Jae-seok asked him, “Did you really give your father a car when you were 22?”
Park Ji-hoon explained that his father had been driving his car for a long time, so he wanted to give him something really nice. Since his father liked cars, he decided to splurge on a vehicle and gift him an SUV.
Yoo Jae-seok then joked that the car must have been a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, commonly nicknamed “G-Wagen” — a vehicle often priced around 200 million KRW (about ~$150,000 USD). Park Ji-hoon said he got a great deal on the car, and his father is still driving it.
