BTS member Jungkook has been officially recognized as one of the “Top 25 Most Famous Persons in the World,” joining the ranks of global figures such as U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The list, published on Feb. 18 by the global informational site World Famous Things, placed Jungkook at 18th overall. Notably, he was the only Korean national to be included in this prestigious ranking.
The publication described Jungkook as a “popular and influential music celebrity,” highly praising his “strong voice, attractive personality, and impressive performance skills” that have captivated a massive global audience.
Since his debut with BTS in 2013, Jungkook has consistently shattered records on the Billboard charts and sold out stadiums worldwide. The site further highlighted his immense success as a solo artist, specifically noting that hits like “Seven” (2023) proved he is a “strong independent artist with a tremendous worldwide fanbase.”
Beyond music, the ranking also emphasized his massive influence in fashion and social media, where his collaborations with global brands and posts reach millions of followers instantly.
Other prominent figures on the list include Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, MrBeast, Kim Kardashian, Mark Zuckerberg, and LeBron James.
Fans are eagerly anticipating his next move, as Jungkook is set to return with BTS’s fifth full-length album, “Arirang,” on March 20.
