10 Years Later: 2PM Ok Taec-yeon Is Getting Married

Ok Taec-yeon of 2PM is set to become the second married member of the group, with his wedding scheduled for April 24. He will marry his non-celebrity fiancée, who is four years younger than him, after dating for 10 years.

His agency, 51K, confirmed the marriage reports on the 24th, asking for understanding that specific details about the ceremony could not be disclosed because his bride-to-be is not a public figure.

Last November, Ok Taec-yeon personally announced his marriage through a handwritten letter, saying, “I have decided to spend my life with someone who has believed in me for a long time. We will rely on each other and walk through life together.”

In particular, after winning Best Actor in a Mini-Series at the KBS Drama Awards for The First Night with the Duke, he publicly mentioned and thanked his fiancée by name in his acceptance speech — an unusual move given that she is not a celebrity.

Their relationship became public in 2020. In February last year, photos surfaced of Ok Taec-yeon proposing in Paris, kneeling and presenting a ring. At the time, his agency explained it was a birthday event, but nine months later the couple confirmed their engagement.

Following the wedding announcement, interior designer Park Ji-hyun revealed photos of the couple’s newlywed home on social media. The home was designed to be both comfortable and refined, featuring white wood, metal, and stone elements. The kitchen was tailored especially for Ok Taec-yeon, who enjoys cooking after work.

The residence includes a clean white living room and bedroom, a sophisticated kitchen and bathroom, and a spacious, cozy master bedroom. Ok Taec-yeon also reportedly held a pre-wedding photoshoot at the home, drawing further public attention.
