At an event, the two companies shared their key business goals for 2026 and announced cooperation plans to improve operational efficiency in the U.S. retail and food service markets by combining POS technology with t’order’s ordering system.

Eddie Cho, CEO of VelaONE, said, “Labor shortages and rising labor costs in the food service industry have made improving operational efficiency a critical challenge,” adding, “While the adoption rate of t’order systems in Korea exceeds 90%, it remains at around 5% in the U.S.”

Cho said the primary goal of the partnership is to make ordering more convenient for both small business owners and customers. He said the integration is expected to increase table turnover rates and simplify operating processes.

He added that VelaONE is providing customized solutions to help senior customers who are unfamiliar with online ordering, including screen magnification features. Cho said the company plans to support a wide range of customers, including Korean American communities, so they can use the service more easily.

Sujin Hwang, Sales Marketing Manager at t’order, said the company established its U.S. subsidiary about a year and a half ago and has moved forward with its U.S. expansion by opening a branch office in Cerritos. She said inquiries about adopting the system are coming in from major regions including California, Texas, Georgia, and Colorado.

Hwang said expanding the adoption of the t’order system in the U.S. food service market through cooperation with VelaONE is a key business goal. She said adopting a digital ordering system can help improve store operations while easing cost burdens.

Attendees included Eddie Cho, CEO of VelaONE, Kyle Jeon, former Vice President (VP) of t’order, and representatives from US Bank and Elavon, which have signed business agreements with VelaONE.

The companies signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) at VelaONE’s headquarters in Santa Fe Springs during the VelaONE Summit 2026 event held on the 19th, outlining plans to enter the U.S. food service market.
